The RIASA Scouting Network.

RIASA is a unique program that looks for students who are committed to a life changing opportunity as they pursue their degree and aim to reach their optimal playing ability.

In order for students to be accepted into the soccer academy a RIASA scout in their region must first approve their suitability for program.

Please contact the International Director, Brian Haley at: bhaley@riasa.org regarding how to be scouted for the program.

THE RIASA Scouting Process.

RIASA has several different ‘pathways’ into its program.

Five pathways to football acceptance include:
1. Be seen by a scout at a tournament/game
2. Attend one of the 'Experience RIASA' Prospect Camps. http://riasa.org/experienceriasa-prospectcamp
3. Visit the campus in Leeds, England for training and evaluation
4. Video footage of a recent game
5. Coach's Recommendation along with Soccer Resume.

RIASA requires two of the above pathways. The major path for prospective students is to attend one of the Experience RIASA events in San Antonio (Dec), Orlando (March), Seattle (June), St Louis (June) or Long Island (June). See the link above for details. This is the best way to be scouted for the program.

RIASA attends several showcase events around the country. Contact Brian Haley, International Football Director, bhaey@riasa.org if you want a scout to attend one of your events. We cannot guarantee a scout will be available but if possible we will try to get a RIASA scout out to see you. RIASA does not send scouts to the regional showcase events but to more national showcase events.
